The beach was amazing and in a great spot. It was peaceful and tranquil when we visited. There's a market every Thursday where you can get some food.
This beach is quite lengthy, yet not very developed. It's nothing extraordinary. Having been to some of the stunning beaches in Australia, this one is just alright. Watching the sunset here is quite pleasant, but other than that, it's just a regular beach.
Bangtao boasts the longest beach in Phuket, stretching for a whopping 5 km. The water is crystal clear and the sand is even whiter than Nai Thon beach, making it a truly stunning sight. I absolutely adore it.
This beach is quite tranquil. There are plenty of spots with shade. Unfortunately, it looks a bit forlorn and disheveled these days, with a large area of boats at the entrance. The sand isn't as soft as it could be due to the conifers that encircle the area. There are places to grab a bite or a beverage.
If you're looking for a peaceful beach experience without the hustle and bustle of vendors, this is the place for you. Just grab a towel and find a spot on the gentle slope of the beach to lay down and soak up some sun!
