Ko Rang Yai Beach is located on the Andaman Sea (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 29th place out of 70 beaches in the Phuket region 10 km away from its center, the city of Phuket. It is one of the beaches of Ban Sa Pam settlement, just 5.7 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Beautiful island, but if a money grab though considering it’s a private island. Pay per lounge seat. Jelly fish in the water so not really able to swim. Pineapple smoothie was nice though.

Was on a boat trip around the phi phi islands... This was the last stop before returning to Phuket. Lovely place and a great day out. Can't comment about food, service or rooms.
