It is one of the beaches of Ubatuba settlement, just 0.8 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

linda, areia boa, mar verde turquesa e super limpa. mar calmo com ondas bem fracas boa pra ir com crianças. temperatura da água é boa. tem bastante sombra por conta das árvores mas também cai muitas lagartas entao tem que ficar atento. tem bom sinal de telefone na ilha, diferente da praia da Junqueira que não possui sinal porém tem internet wi-fi da praça. não tem restaurante lá, nem aluguel de mesas e cadeiras de praia. quando eu fui tinha um morador alugando cadeiras comuns lá.

Passamos por aqui, a praia em si e bem bonita apesar de termos pegados uma janela de chuva, não vimos comercios ou hospedagem, entretanto vale a pena conhecer este paraíso, lugar bem calmo e reservado.

A travessia é R$25 em um trajeto de 7 min da praia grande até tapera. Um quiosque. Caipirinha vale a pena R$18 Mt boa. Parte ruim: pra tomar banho é péssima. Cheio de urubus, lixo, cachorros, gatos, galinha, patos e bicho geográfico. Uma verdadeira fazenda.
