It is one of the beaches of Tapera settlement, just 1.9 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. Beautiful beach, great restaurants. We came here on a boat tour from Paraty. I don't if there is any other way to get there other than a boat tour or having a boat yourself. It was lovely though!

Mandatory stop on the "Vuelta a Ihla" boat ride. The truth is that compared to the rest of the beaches it is the worst, they leave you alone to have lunch in a restaurant that is very expensive because they have an agreement. Luckily I brought my own food but we still had more than an hour on that little beach.
