Azedinha Beach is located on the South Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 44th place out of 375 beaches in the Rio de Janeiro region 137.5 km away from its center, the city of Rio de Janeiro. It is one of the beaches of Armacao dos Buzios settlement, just 2.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is very crowded place during the season.

Azedinha Beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis.

The beach is accessed through Azeda beach and has some coffee shops for food and drinks. While the view is amazing, the sand is a bit dirty due to people not fully respecting it. The sea water is usually calm with minimal waves and not cold. However, the main issue is that it's a small beach and becomes extremely crowded. Additionally, people bring their own speakers, making it quite loud.
