It is one of the beaches of Mambucaba settlement, just 4.5 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

I really enjoy this beach. Compared to the other beaches in Angra, this one has more waves and can be challenging, but that's what makes it perfect for me.

Angra dos Reis' mainland lacks the sight of a picturesque blue/green shore. However, the Brava beach is a splendid and secure location with crystal clear waters and a non-steep shore. The waves are mild and gentle, making it a perfect spot for relaxation. Nonetheless, it's essential to arrive before 9 am as the entrance gate controls the number of visitors. Failing to do so may result in being denied entry.
