Playa de Santa Ana is located on the Alboran Sea and it is in the 6th place out of 135 beaches in the Malaga region 17 km away from its center, the city of Malaga. It is one of the beaches of Arroyo de la Miel settlement, just 1.3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a spacious coastline with blue water and gray sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is very crowded place during the season.

A significant part of the beach is occupied by beach clubs with limited access The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, sup-surfing.

Fans of active recreation can take part in beach volleyball.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located directly on the beach.

It's a beach - what's not to like? Felt so good to be back in Benalmadena after a four-year absence (thanks a lot, Covid-19 pandemic).

Playa de Santa Ana is located at Benalmadena beach, in the Malaga district. It is a good place if you like touristic sights. However, if you are more hippie/chill style like me, that's not your place. It is a bunch of old people walking with their grandkids between the many fancy bars and restaurants around it. I came here for five days only because my friend had invited me. However, for sure, I won't come back anymore.
