Playa Ancha is located on the Alboran Sea and it is in the 114th place out of 135 beaches in the Malaga region 81.2 km away from its center, the city of Malaga. It is one of the beaches of La Perla de Bahia settlement, just 0.8 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a spacious coastline with blue water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal.
