Playa de Valdearenas is located on the Iznájar Reservoir and it is in the 2th place out of 1 beaches in the Cordova region 79.8 km away from its center, the city of Cordova. It is one of the beaches of Iznajar settlement, just 1.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. It was absolutely wonderful to have the opportunity to enjoy this small artificial beach, especially since it is quite a distance from the actual beach. The water was pleasantly warm, and the beach itself was pristine and covered in soft sand. Additionally, there is a small kiosk where you can purchase refreshments, and further down the beach, there is an English café and a campsite. We all had an amazing day here, although I do regret not taking the time to explore the village on the other side of the bridge. Without a doubt, we will come back to this place during our next visit. The drive to reach this destination was incredibly scenic, as the road gracefully wound its way through the mountains. It truly made for a fantastic day trip.
