Ondarreta beach is located on the Biscay bay (part of North Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 3th place out of 12 beaches in the Gipuzkoa region 1.6 km away from its center, the city of San Sebastián. It is one of the beaches of Donostia San Sebastian settlement, just 1.6 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.

It is a spacious bay with crystal blue water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Ondarreta beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.
