Abama Beach is located on the North Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 2th place out of 242 beaches in the Santa Cruz de Tenerife region 41.7 km away from its center, the city of Santa Ursula. It is one of the beaches of Pasos Largos settlement, just 3.6 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views.

It is a tiny bay with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Playa Abama is incredible! The trek from the parking lot to the shoreline may be long and exhausting, but it's totally worth it.

We had a great time at the beach! Parking was at the public lot near the Ritz Hotel and then it was a short walk to the beach.

That place may be small, but it's perfectly formed! It's a bit of a trek from the hotel (a steep hill, but there's a bus or train available to guests who don't want to walk), and it has a nice bar and warm swimming water. It's a great spot to soak up the sun!

Visiting Tenerife is not complete without a trip to this beach. It's a cozy location with beautiful sand and a stunning view for sunset. It takes a bit of effort to get there, either by foot via the stairs (the elevator isn't working) or by car, although there are no parking spaces right there. Despite this, it's still a five-star beach!

This place is a sight to behold. With its golden sand and striking turquoise waters, it's no wonder it's a popular destination. However, the steep steps to access it may not be for the faint-hearted. Make sure to bring an umbrella, as there's no shade available - but the views you'll get are well worth it.
