Praia de Santa Marta is located on the Atlantic ocean and it is in the 90th place out of 187 beaches in the Pontevedra region 38.8 km away from its center, the city of Pontevedra. It is one of the beaches of A Ponte settlement, just 0.5 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and white sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

That place is a popular spot in the summertime and perfect for kids due to its shallow waters. It has great facilities including showers and car parking, and is a great place for walks. Plus, it's conveniently close to bars and restaurants for food, and is easily accessible from the centre of Baiona.

Baiona boasts one of the most incredible beaches around, with the Cíes and Estellas islands nearby providing a temperate, tranquil sea for swimming. There are showers available to rinse off the salt water after a leisurely dip, and during the summer months, a cozy chiringuito serves up cold beer and ice cream.
