Playa de Vigocho is located on the North Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 115th place out of 277 beaches in the Las Palmas region 125.8 km away from its center, the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. It is one of the beaches of Ajuy settlement, just 6.3 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a spacious several bays coastline with crystal turquoise water and black sand & pebble cover, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season. Please note that the area nearby is possible for wild camping.

Playa de Vigocho coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

The beach may not be the sandiest when the tide is in, so don't forget your sandals! But it's still a beautiful spot - you might even catch a glimpse of the SS America peeking out of the ocean a few dozen yards away. You can walk in or, if you don't mind the gravel road, you can even drive all the way in.
