The beach in Tenerife isn't the greatest I've seen, but it's the best one I've come across on the island. It's quite busy, but the sand is soft, the water is warm and usually tranquil.
Costa Adeja in south Tenerife is an amazing beach to visit. There's a great selection of shops nearby for all your shopping, dining and water sports needs. I made sure to go there every day during my stay in Tenerife and I'm already planning on returning soon!
This location is an amazing spot, boasting a wide stretch of sand and plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs nearby. It's easy to access the toilets and showers, and there's the added bonus of sunbeds and sunchairs available to rent. To guarantee you get one, you'll want to arrive early between 8 and 9, or you can even reserve one in advance. The sunbeds are great for families, as three people can easily fit on one. The cost for the first two rows is €80 (€35 for the sunbed plus €45 to use for food and drinks), and €60 for subsequent rows (€25 for the sunbed plus €35 for food and drinks). Sunchairs are also available and are around €7-€8 each, though they're not as comfortable as the sunbeds. Although the sunbeds may seem expensive, you would have spent that money on food and drinks anyway, so it's worth booking one
That place is a great spot to relax and soak up the sun. The city beach is bustling with vendors selling everything from towels to drinks to massages, but it's not too overwhelming. The water is so refreshing after a hot day in the sun and the sunset is simply stunning. Highly recommend!
This spot is okay, but nothing special. The water is easily accessible and there are a few shops nearby. The public toilets are a plus, but the public showers are a bit grimy. All in all, it's an average beach.
