Playa del Caracol is located on the North Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 165th place out of 277 beaches in the Las Palmas region 131.6 km away from its center, the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. It is one of the beaches of Tarajalejo settlement, just 1.9 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. This beach is not a well-known place, so it is well suited for a relaxing leisure.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal blue water and gray sand & pebble cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Reaching Pebble Beach can be a challenge, even with a 4x4 - unless you are a local or have been there before. I suggest taking the coastal route (which will take around an hour from the R2 Bahia Playa Hotel) to explore the other beaches and the stunning desert vistas.
