This location is a great spot for a peaceful getaway. It's very nice and quiet, plus it has public free entry, making it an ideal spot for a budget-friendly day out.
Tucked away in a secluded spot, so not everyone can get to it. The access has been improved a bit, but you still have to walk down a rocky path. There's no lifeguard or bathrooms, but it's a great little stone beach. Here are some photos and a video to give you a glimpse!
This place is a very tranquil spot, with few visitors even during peak season. The only downside is that access is only possible by ATV or by foot from the road.
Gáldar's Municipality hosts a stunning beach, situated next to the Botija archaeological site and the new wind farm. Its crystal clear waters make it an ideal spot for divers, snorkelers, and fishermen alike. With moderate to strong waves all year round, it's important to exercise caution when visiting the beach if you're unfamiliar with the area. Campers flock to the beach throughout the year, and it can only be accessed by foot or 4X4 vehicle. To get there, take the GC-2 and turn off at the El Cardonal exit. Surrounding the beach is land formerly used for planting tomatoes, onions, and potatoes, with banana farms and livestock farms of goats, cows, chickens, and pigs nearby.
Playa del Lagarto and Archaeological Site of Botija, not well marked, is situated in the upper area of the beach and is a great destination for those who enjoy exploring to take in the scenery.
