Playa Los Frailes is located on the North Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 265th place out of 277 beaches in the Las Palmas region 47.2 km away from its center, the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. It is one of the beaches of Playa de Tauro settlement, just 1 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place.

It is a straight coastline with crystal blue water and rocks cover, so it is highly recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Playa Los Frailes coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

This spot is a great for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. It's nice and quiet, and easy to get to - no need to go out of your way.

A great spot for some peace and quiet. It's easily accessible, so you don't have to go out of your way to get there. If you sit near the back wall, you may find that some elderly couples like to walk by you, even though there's plenty of room elsewhere on the beach. What's the deal with that?

That place has been going downhill lately. It's quite a local spot with black sand and sun beds, but there's some kind of construction going on in the rocky area that's taking forever and really ruining the look of the beach. Plus, the road doesn't seem to be getting cleaned. Despite all this, it's still a beach worth saving, so please finish whatever the buildings are and clean up! Plus, it's a great bonus that this beach has public free entry.

This location may not be the most spectacular one I've visited, but it still has its positives. The Spar shop nearby is great for stocking up on supplies, and there are a few decent eateries in the same area. Unfortunately, the beach itself leaves something to be desired - the sand is grey and the shoreline is quite rocky. Thankfully, it's not far to walk to better beaches.
