Puerto Rico beach is located on the North Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 22th place out of 277 beaches in the Las Palmas region 47 km away from its center, the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. It is one of the beaches of Playa de Tauro settlement, just 2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is very crowded place during the season.

Puerto Rico beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, showers, toilets. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

This place is one of our top picks! With stunning views and plenty of hotels overlooking the bay, it's a great spot to relax. There's a concrete pier to one side of the beach that gives you access to deeper waters, making it a great spot for jumping in without having to worry about hitting the bottom. Plus, there's a beach bar nearby and a local supermarket for those bargain hunters!

Playa de Puerto Rico is clean, but it's nothing to write home about. It's located near the harbour, so you can catch a whiff of the fumes from the boats when they come and go. Not exactly the most pleasant of smells, but it's a small price to pay for a day at the beach.

Perfect spot for a relaxing day in the sun. The waters are calm and inviting, and with new sun-beds as of 10-22, you can enjoy the day in ultimate comfort. Despite its popularity, the beach never gets too crowded so you can always find a spot to lay out and soak up the sun.
