It is one of the beaches of El Matorral settlement, just 1.9 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a small bay with crystal blue water and black sand & pebble cover, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season. I have visited this beach several times, and it's great for all ages! The pool is ideal for kids and the elderly, as it has stairs and handrails for extra support. It's truly a great place to go!

Playa Boca las Casillas near Maspalomas is a great spot if you're looking for a lively atmosphere. You can sit back, relax and enjoy a cold drink while listening to some live music. The view is definitely unique, with a variety of restaurants and shops blocking your view of the ocean. You can also find a wide selection of beach goods, souvenirs and other knick-knacks to bring home. But if you're looking for a peaceful, tranquil beach experience, this probably isn't the spot for you.

This serene spot is a great place to go for some peace and quiet - too bad they were doing construction work. A real shame that the tranquility was disturbed, but it's still worth a visit.

The beach behind the pier was an absolute disgrace - littered with plastic bottles of bleach, fabric softeners and tetra briks. Even the natural pools were filled with plastic bags, cans and broken balustrades. It only took us 10 minutes to fill two garbage bags with the rubbish. It's a real shame to see such a beautiful place ruined by human negligence.
