When we arrived at the beach for the first time, it was crowded and unclean, making it impossible for us to go for a swim. Additionally, there is limited parking available in the area, so we had to drive around multiple times before finally finding a suitable spot.
It was an incredible experience. We spent a considerable amount of time at this beach. Throughout the day, my younger sister wore goggles and had a great time observing and following small fish. Although the water is salty, it didn't pose much of an issue as there are convenient freshwater showers available for rinsing off. As for shade, it's quite limited, so it's advisable to arrive early. However, despite arriving around 11 on a weekday, we were fortunate enough to secure a shaded spot for approximately three hours before the sun became too intense.
The beach was bustling with locals and visitors alike, especially since it was a public holiday. The clear sky provided a wonderful view of Teide, making the experience truly enchanting.
The area is absolutely lovely, with a fantastic natural pool located right alongside the sea. Additionally, there is a restaurant, changing rooms, and free toilets available behind the pool area.
The beach features a fantastic natural swimming pool that is guarded by lifeguards. The pool gives you the sensation of being in the ocean as the waves spill over its edges. However, the water was generally unclean due to the presence of trash in certain areas of the ocean. Unfortunately, there seemed to be a lack of responsibility in cleaning it up, making swimming in the pool somewhat unpleasant at times.
