Playa Cabo de Gata is located on the Alboran Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 103th place out of 105 beaches in the Almeria region 20.9 km away from its center, the city of Almeria. It is one of the beaches of La Almadraba de Monteleva settlement, just 4.3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long bay with and gray sand & pebble cover, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Playa Cabo de Gata coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

What a pleasant surprise to stumble upon this beach! Our hotel barman in Almeria had highly recommended it, and we were not disappointed. This long, wide stretch of shoreline is a wild, untouched paradise with few houses and buildings in sight. If you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy a peaceful day on the sand, this beach is an absolute gem.

This location is an endless stretch of sand (with some areas more like gravel) and crystal-clear waters. It is equipped with tapas chiringuitos, lifeguards, and showers, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sun.
