It is one of the beaches of Cortijos de Ferron settlement, just 3.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long bay with and gray sand & pebble cover, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

December 2022 brought with it a rare opportunity - air temperatures of 22 degrees, and water at 15 degrees. There was minimal human activity, providing a tranquil atmosphere and a stunning view. Exploring the beach and the surrounding countryside was a truly special experience, but visitors should be mindful of the abundance of rabbits running around.

The beach at Cabo de Gata is a classic! It's huge, with a long stretch of sand and a bit of garrufo. Yet, it can get quite busy during the summer months, so if you wait until the season is over, you'll find yourself with a lot of space to yourself. Highly recommended!

Despite being a woman travelling alone, I felt surprisingly safe in the parking lot. The only other people around were the greenhouse workers, but they were friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was peaceful and serene - a great place to relax and take in the scenery.
