Calita Playa is located on the Alboran Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 37th place out of 135 beaches in the Malaga region 86.7 km away from its center, the city of Malaga. It is one of the beaches of La Paloma settlement, just 1.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and gray shell sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

The bay here is great, and although the beach is made up of mostly small pebbles, there are plenty of great rocks to jump off of into the amazing water.

This beach is a real gem! It's close by, spotless, and not too busy. But the best part is the snorkeling! You can explore the rocks in the sea and see a world of wonders. It's a must-try experience!

This beach is a paradise - the water is crystal clear and inviting. There are some amazing rocks reaching up to 2.5-3m in the area, perfect for diving. On top of that, the beach isn't overcrowded, so you can really relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. I visited in September 2018 and it was the perfect spot for a peaceful day.
