Playa de la Costilla is located on the Gulf of Cadiz (part of North Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 26th place out of 91 beaches in the Cádiz region 12.1 km away from its center, the city of Cadiz. It is one of the beaches of Rota settlement, just 0.7 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long lasting coastline with green water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Playa de la Costilla coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, showers. This area has also a water park in the sea with various inflatable toys which constitute excellent activities for parents and children. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

This place is a great place to get away from it all. If you're looking for a peaceful spot to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, then this is your place. It's far from the bright lights of the city and has a lovely rural setting. relatively untouched and provides a great backdrop for a relaxing afternoon. It does get a bit crowded in the summer, but that's to be expected. If you're looking for a more lively beach experience, there are plenty of other options up and down the coast. But if you're after a few hours of peace and quiet, then this is the spot for you. Highly recommended!
