This place is great! The views are incredible and it's close to downtown, eateries, and hotels. There are showers available too. It's perfect for families, couples, and groups of friends. You could spend the whole day here, as there are plenty of eateries in the vicinity. Highly recommended!
It's unbelievable that there are no toilets at the beach in this day and age. A place as lively as Peñiscola should have toilets and changing rooms available on the beach. The only option is to use the restaurants nearby, but most of them only allow customers to use their facilities. If the Peñiscola council wants to support local businesses and not allow chiringuitos on the beach, they should request that businesses let people use their facilities. Otherwise, the council should provide toilet facilities or even better, put up chiringuitos like they did on the south beach. There are countless situations when a toilet is desperately needed at the beach, yet there is nothing in sight.
Playa de Peniscola is a real paradise for beach-lovers! With its long and wide sandy stretches, there's plenty of room for everyone. You can find free areas to enjoy the sun and sea, or you can opt for the paid zones with sun beds and umbrellas. And if you're an art-lover, you can marvel at the amazing sand sculptures created by talented artists.
Cycling to Peñiscola town is a great way to explore the area and its beach, and it's especially peaceful in the early morning when there aren't many people around.
This beach in the south of Spain is a true paradise! It's a great spot to escape the crowds, with crystal clear waters and a wonderful temperature. You can also find plenty of affordable cafes nearby and if you need to rinse off, there are showers available. It's a perfect place to relax and enjoy the sun!
