This location is perfect for a leisurely stroll. Be sure to take extra caution while walking due to the rocky terrain and the sun, so don't forget your hat! It's a tranquil spot, perfect for a peaceful and private outing. This place is sure to be remembered fondly!
The journey to this stunning beach in Mallorca was quite the hike from the lighthouse, but it was totally worth it! We arrived early, around 11am on a Thursday, and were the first ones to get there. It's important to remember to bring a backpack instead of a beach tote, as the descent to the beach is quite steep. Don't forget to bring sun protection, a hat, and plenty of water and snacks for the day. The cove was so beautiful, with boat tours coming and going all day. If you hike to this beach, you'll be luckier than them, because you can enjoy it for the whole day, not just an hour. Make sure to leave at least two hours before sundown, as the paths can be quite rocky.
Getting to the beach was an absolute nightmare - it took us 1.5 hours of trudging through the heat before we finally arrived. It was a relief to find that the beach was relatively free of people and the water was crystal-clear. However, the lack of parking and amenities was a major downside. It was a relief that the hike was mostly flat, but it was still exhausting in the August heat. If you're able to, it's much better to get there by boat. All in all, it was a mixed experience - it was nice to be there, but the journey was a real struggle.
This place is the perfect place to go if you want to feel the sun on your skin and the sand between your toes. However, be sure to bring your sneakers to get there, as the terrain can be a bit tricky. Also, avoid visiting in July at midday, as the heat can be unbearable. Don't forget to bring a few bags to pick up the plastic that's unfortunately washing up on the shore. It's not as bad as you might think, but it's still important to do your part in keeping the beach clean. All in all, this beach is a great spot to relax and enjoy the view.
Cala is a stunning, picturesque beach. Don't rely on Google Maps to get there - instead, head to the Far des Cap de sea Salines (the lighthouse) and take a left. A leisurely hour-long stroll (5km) along the fence will lead you straight to the beach. It's a great way to take in the scenery and have a wonderful time!
