Illetes Beach is located on the Balearic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 148th place out of 382 beaches in the Balearic Islands region 6.3 km away from its center, the city of Palma. It is one of the beaches of ses Illetes settlement, just 0.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Illetes Beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis.

We came here July 2023. Nice enough small beach surrounded by "exclusive" hotels. Definitely not "senior friendly" as you have a short fairly steep hill and a number of stone steps to negotiate. It was extremely busy with children and adults. The main issue we had was that you cannot use ANY of the sunbeds on the beach unless you pre book the day before. They were also 40€ per person. Drinks etc from shop not bad cost wise. (You can use the less comfortable beds after 2pm if you're lucky enough to get one but will still have to pay the daily charge) If ur ok with a towel on a busy beach you will be happy with this beach. Probably quieter out of season of course. Just not for us!

This location is a real gem! It's small and tucked away, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. The sand is spotless and there's plenty of space to set up a sun lounger, launch a small boat, or grab a bite to eat at the restaurant. It's the perfect place for a peaceful day in the sun.

This urban beach is a great spot for families with children. It's easy to access, with free parking right next to the beach club. The sand is white and the water is crystal clear, making it easy to spot fish and see the bottom of the sea. You can rent paddle boards and there are even boats with slides for the kids. Sadly, there were no BBQ boats. We visited in the morning, and although it was quite quiet, we heard it gets very crowded in the afternoon. The beach club opens at 10am, so you can get food and drinks from early morning, and there are sun beds and red umbrellas. There are also a few shops and a massage center nearby, which looks professional and has reasonable prices. We had an amazing time and would definitely come back.

This beach has some great amenities, including warm showers, luxurious free toilets, and a restaurant. For those looking for a little extra comfort, two long chairs with a sun umbrella can be rented for 23€ per day. The water here is truly remarkable.
