It is one of the beaches of Es Canar settlement, just 0.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Platja des Canar location is great; it's a prime spot for a day of relaxation and fun. The scenery is beautiful and the atmosphere is peaceful. It's a great place to spend time with family and friends, or just to get away from it all.

This place was beautiful, with a wash off shower and golden fine sand. The parking was close, but it would have been great to have a little take away shack to buy a beer.

This location is great, especially when the weather is good and the crowds haven't arrived yet. The local authorities do a great job of keeping it clean and free of any debris that washes up. Plus, there's the added bonus of free sun beds and plenty of decent bars and cafes in close proximity, making it easily accessible.

The beach was a great spot - the sea was crystal clear in the middle and even when there was some seaweed in certain areas, there were still plenty of nice places to enjoy. The sea was shallow at first, but you could still swim well. The water was very pleasant, even during July and September. Plus, it's easy to get to the island of Formentera by boat from here.
