The walk to Almunia beach was a long, arduous 30 minutes, and when we got there, it was so crowded that there was barely enough room to move. We took a quick dip in the water and then had to head back to the car - clearly it wasn't the most ideal beach experience.
The beach offers a spectacular vista and the ocean is a sight to behold. However, it can get quite busy so it's best to plan your visit accordingly. I took these pictures at 4 pm and it was already quite crowded. It's a bit of a steep descent to the sand, so make sure to wear shoes with good traction - Tevas or sneakers are a great option. Unfortunately, I slipped and got hurt, so be extra careful!
This beach near Cala Llombards is perfect for those looking for a peaceful spot to unwind. However, the parking situation is a bit of a hassle. It's recommended to arrive early, before 9am, and park at Cala Llombath, then take a 15 minute walk. Parking in side streets can result in tickets. During peak times, it's best to arrive before 10am if you want to get a good photo without too many people around.
