My family and relatives, a total of 5 people, celebrated Christmas and New Year's 2023 at the Coconut Court Hotel, a fantastic family-run establishment. I stayed at the hotel for nearly three weeks and I can't say enough about how wonderful the hotel, staff, rooms, grounds, pool, and beach were. This hotel deserves to be rated as a 4-5 star establishment, not a 3. Apart from the reasonable room prices compared to other hotels on the island, I chose this hotel because it was family-run and didn't feel corporate at all. They pay great attention to detail, and one or two of the owners were always available and approachable. The staff was consistently friendly and courteous, and the grounds were meticulously maintained and spotless. The dinners were always delicious, with a daily changing menu that maintained a very high standard. I can't emphasize enough how amazing the servers were, especially the head chef who went above and beyond by personally apologizing if anything wasn't up to his standards. The beach is absolutely stunning, with a vast expanse of sandy shoreline and calm waters thanks to a reef built by the family, which is perfect for snorkeling. There is a section of the beach with trees that provide shade, and you can even watch the local monkeys hopping from tree to tree above you - it's truly magical. The hotel also has a highly professional and courteous security staff stationed on the beach every day, and one security member named Tiffany was exceptional, kind, and shared wonderful stories about her life and family in Barbados. I stayed in the Deluxe Oceanfront room located on the pool deck level, which was very convenient as it required minimal steps to reach the beach, restaurant, or street. The room was spacious and the air conditioning was always reliable. The rooms were cleaned daily by the hardworking and amazing staff. Lastly, I should mention that this hotel may not be suitable for older individuals or those with mobility issues, as there is no elevator and you would need to climb some stairs to access the beach or street from your room. Oh, and I almost forgot - there is a bus stop right outside the hotel entrance, with great eateries nearby and a boardwalk just a few minutes' stroll along the beach. This hotel is conveniently located close to many shops and excellent dining options. I love this hotel and its attention to detail, as well as the fact that it's family-run, so much that I will be returning in 2024. I highly recommend it.
This beach resort in Barbados offers the best value for your money. It is absolutely perfect, with a very reasonable price considering its location and the ambiance of being right by the ocean. The resort is impeccably clean, and the staff is always polite and accommodating. It is conveniently located near all the exciting activities. The food at the resort is good, and we particularly enjoyed our balcony room that faced the ocean. The resort even has a reef that you can easily reach by wading. Snorkeling is a must-do here. The sand is pristine, and there are plenty of shaded areas if you prefer to stay out of the sun, or you can sunbathe if you prefer. The pool is just the right size. Although there are steps to get around, my wife, who will soon undergo a knee replacement, managed just fine because there are many benches and the stairs are not steep. Trust me, you will save thousands of dollars while still experiencing a first-class atmosphere.
The hotel is fantastic to stay at, with its spacious and roomy sea-view accommodations. The service provided was top-notch, as the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. The hotel's location is ideal, situated right on the beach and conveniently close to all necessary facilities. I highly recommend The hotel.
I had the opportunity to have lunch at this beach for a special occasion in the past. Unfortunately, I wasn't particularly satisfied with the food quality, the presentation, or the overall atmosphere. Throughout my meal, I constantly had to deal with flies swarming around both the food I was trying to eat and the items on the buffet. Despite enjoying the company of my family, the overall experience was far from satisfactory.
Compared to other hotels, this place is the perfect choice. It serves as an ideal starting point for exploring the island. The rooms are charming and spotless. The food is delicious and offers a diverse menu as well. The beach feels almost exclusive, as the hotel is built around its crescent shape, providing a shallow bathing area shielded by a cluster of small rocks. Additionally, having a beach bar that serves food is an excellent bonus. We would absolutely come back to this place.
