Praia do Mira Mar is located on the Indian ocean and it is in the 2th place out of 3 beaches in the Maputo region 4.9 km away from its center, the city of Maputo. It is one of the beaches of Maputo settlement, just 4.9 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. The beach is stunningly beautiful, with its crystal-clear waters and soft sand that feels like silk under your feet. However, it's unfortunate that the serenity of this paradise is somewhat marred by the presence of sewage flowing into the beach. Despite this, the beach is still a breathtaking sight to behold, and the cool sea breeze provides a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It's a perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun, but it's important to be mindful of the sewage and take precautions to avoid any health risks. Despite this minor drawback, this beach is truly a treasure worth visiting.
