Plage de Cabo Negro is located on the Alboran Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 7th place out of 68 beaches in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region 49.5 km away from its center, the city of Tanger. It is one of the beaches of Martil settlement, just 3.5 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

This beach in Tetouan is among the top ones, and it's particularly peaceful in the mornings. The view of the hill in front of you is absolutely stunning. Additionally, the beach boasts golden, fine sand, which is a definite plus. While it may not have as many amenities as other nearby cities, this actually adds to its charm and makes it all the more inspiring for visitors.

The beach used to be wonderful, but unfortunately it's not as clean anymore due to litter in the sea and on the shore. This is likely due to the influx of visitors from the south. However, it's worth noting that the sand is golden and fine, and there are some jellyfish in the water so be cautious.
