Plage Martil is located on the Alboran Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 22th place out of 68 beaches in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region 51 km away from its center, the city of Tangier. It is one of the beaches of Martil settlement, just 0.9 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.

It is a long lasting coastline with turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Plage Martil coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. This area has also a water park in the sea with various inflatable toys which constitute excellent activities for parents and children. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, sup-surfing, sea kayaking.

The beach is immaculate and offers a serene atmosphere. It is typically not overcrowded, allowing for a peaceful experience. The vistas of the Riffian mountains along the coastline are breathtaking, stretching both east and west. Occasionally, Spain can be seen in the northern direction, adding to the already stunning scenery.

This poses a significant risk to those walking amidst the crowd, particularly after dark. August is the busiest month of the year, so expect to see a lot of people around. However, there are plenty of options for snacks and dining available across the beach.

The time I spent at Martil's beach was truly unforgettable. This charming town located near Tetouan boasts a stunning beach that is accompanied by a variety of fun-filled city games. The area is also home to numerous restaurants, and the overall atmosphere is tranquil and clean. One of the standout features of this place is the color scheme of the buildings, which are all painted in a beautiful shade of blue that perfectly complements the sky. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Martil's beach and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic vacation spot.
