Tangier Beach is located on the Strait of Gibraltar (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 30th place out of 68 beaches in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region 0.7 km away from its center, the city of Tangier. It is one of the beaches of Tangier settlement, just 0.7 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long bay with turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Tangier Beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, beach restaurant, toilets. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

Our family of three visited this beach and were all enamored with its natural beauty and cleanliness. The abundance of activities available, such as horseback and camel rides, made for an exciting day. For a small fee of less than £5, we were able to rent comfortable chairs and tables for three hours. Although vendors frequently approached us to sell their wares, they were respectful and did not pressure us to make a purchase. It truly felt like this beach had it all.

Our time at the beach was tarnished by unwelcome attention from both men and women due to our choice of swimwear. The vigilant life guard had to intervene multiple times to remove individuals who were making us uncomfortable. It was a disappointing experience, to say the least.

The beach, located just a 5-minute walk from my hotel, was the perfect spot for me to start my morning at 7am. The golden, fine sand was a pleasant surprise and added to the overall charm of the beach. It was a peaceful and pristine environment, at least during my visit in the morning.
