Teluk Bahang Beach is located on the Malacca Strait and it is in the 4th place out of 22 beaches in the Penang region 13.4 km away from its center, the city of George Town. It is one of the beaches of Pantai Aceh settlement, just 5.6 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Teluk Bahang Beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, toilets, sea pool. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis.

This was my inaugural visit to the vicinity adjacent to Angsana Resort. The beach area boasts a public parking lot and restrooms complete with bathing facilities. A quaint eatery is also present, and I was pleasantly surprised by the delectable flavors of their mee udang and char kue teow dishes. The beach itself is immaculate and relatively unpopulated, making for a serene and peaceful atmosphere.
