As I walked along the shore, I couldn't help but notice the gentle breeze blowing through my hair, the soft sand beneath my feet, and the crystal-clear water stretching out before me. Occasionally, I would come across a few seashells scattered about, and there were plenty of picturesque spots to capture in photographs. However, I must caution you about the parking situation, which can be quite chaotic and congested, and the surrounding area can be quite littered with trash. Hopefully, these issues can be addressed and resolved soon.
Oh, the beach! It's a serene haven for those seeking a respite from the hustle and bustle of daily life. However, be prepared to shell out RM6 for an open parking spot. The toilets, unfortunately, don't quite meet our standards for cleanliness, especially in light of the pandemic. We'd love to see some hand soap and other essentials available. That being said, we thoroughly enjoyed our weekday visit and basked in the tranquil atmosphere. Oh, and don't forget to try the scrumptious and revitalizing coconut shakes! 🥥
Last weekend, I took a short break and headed to Desaru Beach. It was the perfect place to unwind and feel at peace. The weather was on my side, allowing me to witness a breathtaking sunrise during my morning stroll. The sound of the waves crashing against the shore was a soothing balm for my soul. I couldn't help but feel rejuvenated by the salty sea air. Desaru Beach was just what I needed to recharge my batteries and get my daily dose of Vitamin Sea.
I hopped on the hotel shuttle to reach the beach and was pleasantly surprised to find it not too crowded, despite being a weekend. The refreshing sea breeze and pristine cleanliness of the beach were truly enjoyable. While it was scorching hot under the sun, the shaded areas provided a cool respite. I highly suggest applying multiple layers of sunscreen and carrying extra water bottles to stay hydrated. On a whim, I ordered the RM14 coconut drinks in Oreo and original flavors, but they turned out to be quite bland and unsatisfying, unless you're extremely parched.
This expansive and spacious public beach is a haven for beachgoers seeking a serene and clean environment. The beach is regularly maintained, ensuring a pleasant swimming experience, especially for children. A parking fee of RM 6 is required for cars. The public restroom and shower facilities, including a complimentary feet wash, are available but not particularly impressive. A few stalls are scattered around the beach, but they do not offer much value. Although there are no restaurants, visitors are welcome to bring their own food and seating gear. Unfortunately, there are no designated areas for work or study.
