La Spiaggia di Bettina is a lovely private beach located at Lido d'Ostia, just a few kilometers outside of Rome. Getting to Ostia is convenient, as it can be easily accessed by bus or train. It is a charming seaside resort, although it's unfortunate that there doesn't seem to be any public beach available. Normally, we prefer not to pay for private beaches, but we were pleasantly surprised by Bettina. The beach had friendly staff and comfortable sunbeds. While it wasn't inexpensive, we understand that this is the case with most private beaches. The black sand in the area is perfect for achieving a tan, but it's important to note that walking on it without shoes can result in burning your feet.
