It is one of the beaches of Forio settlement, just 1.9 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

The beach offers of charming cafes, although the cost of renting an umbrella and loungers can be a bit steep. The water is pleasantly warm and quite transparent, although there are some seaweed and algae that could be found right upon entering the water. The beach is lined with several cafes that offer delectable and reasonably-priced food, coupled with spectacular views. However, renting an umbrella and two loungers for the day costs €24, which is not exactly budget-friendly.
