It is one of the beaches of Mattinata settlement, just 7.2 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. My go-to spot for a secluded swim and a reliable escape from strong winds and currents. The only downside is that it's accessible only by boat. If you prefer, you can opt for a pedal boat or kayak to reach Lido delle Rose. It's best to visit in the early morning.

The cost for a round trip along the coast from fiesta is €23, with the cruise starting at 9am. It appears that taking the morning cruise is the better option due to the position of the sun. Additionally, there is a possibility that the afternoon cruises may not occur during the low season. In our situation, we were able to join the morning cruise without making a reservation in advance, but it is important to be punctual as it starts on time, which is quite unusual for Italian standards. The parking facilities are convenient and priced at €3. If you decide to come along, make sure to sit on the right side of the boat at the beginning, as it offers slightly better views compared to the left side.
