Marina Chiatona Beach is located on the Ionian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 1th place out of 46 beaches in the Taranto region 16.2 km away from its center, the city of Taranto. It is one of the beaches of Chiatona settlement, just 0.5 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long lasting coastline with blue water and brown sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

A significant part of the beach is occupied by beach clubs with limited access The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. The beach is stunning, with crystal-clear waters and lush greenery along the boardwalk. Additionally, the sand is a unique shade of brown.
