The beach is undoubtedly a sight to behold, but don't be fooled by the paid parking trap. As you drive past the ominous dead end sign, you'll discover a plethora of free parking options. Of course, the parking attendants will try their utmost to persuade you to stop, but don't fall for their cunning tactics. We were unfortunately duped into their scheme and left fuming. My advice? Simply tune them out and carry on with your journey.
The beachfront is breezy, yet it holds a pleasant charm. The secluded section, furnished with beach umbrellas, is rather steeply priced. Hence, we opted for the open beach. A leisurely walk of approximately 15 minutes from the initial parking spot leads you to the sandy shores, which is a cakewalk.
The beach is truly a sight to behold with its stunning scenery, immaculate sand and clear, shallow water that makes it perfect for families with young children. However, the parking fees can be quite steep, ranging from 5 to 7 euros, and the trek through the pine forest can be quite long, depending on where you park. The closest parking spot to the beach is not accessible until 8am, so early birds should plan accordingly.
This beach may seem impressive at first glance, but don't be fooled by its facade. The management is cunning and will try to swindle you into paying for their overpriced shuttle service by claiming there is no parking available. The truth is, if you visit during the off-season, you can park for free in the nearby pine forest and avoid their deceitful tactics.
To reach the beach, a pleasant one-kilometer stroll from the parking area is required, but don't let that deter you. It's worth every step. While some individuals may ask for a fee of 5 to 7 Euros for parking, we discovered that parking alongside the road was acceptable, according to the locals we consulted. As a result, you can save that money for other activities. The beach itself is stunning, with crystal-clear water. We visited in the evening, so it wasn't too crowded, but I suspect it may become busier on sunny weekends. Watching the sunrise at this location could be a breathtaking experience.
