The beach is absolutely flawless, boasting a stunning view of the sea. For a mere 10€, visitors can rent umbrellas to shield themselves from the sun's rays. While parking can be a bit scarce, there are alternative options in the nearby town for a reasonable fee of 5€. Overall, this beach is a must-visit for anyone looking to bask in the beauty of nature.
We embarked on a journey to the picturesque town of Kassiopi, taking the Green buses line from Corfu. Despite the heavy traffic in some areas, the bus ride was a pleasant one, lasting for approximately an hour and a half. Upon arrival, we were thrilled to discover that the beach was a mere 10-minute walk away from the bus stop. Before heading to the beach, we stopped by a convenient supermarket located in front of the bus stop to stock up on snacks and drinks for our beach day. The walk to the beach was a delightful one, as we were greeted by the mesmerizing blue, turquoise, and crystal-clear waters. As we gazed into the horizon, we were able to catch a glimpse of the stunning mountain range in Albania. Although the beach was composed of pebbles and rocks, we were able to rent sunbeds and umbrellas, which proved to be the best option for us. However, if you're comfortable laying on the pebbles or rocks, there is ample space to do so as well. For two sunbeds and an umbrella, we paid around 7€, which was a reasonable price for a day of relaxation on this serene beach.
This charming little beach boasts pristine, translucent waters that are simply breathtaking. Though it's pebbly and dotted with white stones, the water remains crystal clear, creating a truly mesmerizing sight. The temperature of the water may feel a tad cooler than other locations, but it's still refreshing and invigorating. For a modest fee of 8-10 euros, you can rent a comfortable sunbed and umbrella for two. There's also a nearby tavern where you can savor some delicious local cuisine. Keep in mind that the road leading to the beach is one-way, so ensure that you continue on it when departing. Additionally, there's free parking available, making it a convenient and accessible spot to visit.
Undoubtedly, the beach on Corfu Island is a sight to behold. It boasts of a unique feature that sets it apart from other beaches - a complete absence of jellyfish. The beach is adorned with white stones that lend a distinct hue to the sea which can vary from light blue to dark turquoise, depending on the clouds. The beach is replete with stunning details that are sure to catch your eye. Even if you can't find a free sun lounger or umbrella, you can always settle on the flat rocks surrounding the beach. To top it off, we highly recommend the Kastro restaurants for their exceptional food and drink offerings. So, go ahead and enjoy the beach in all its glory!
The beach is truly breathtaking and undoubtedly our favorite in Kassiopi. The crystal clear aqua water is simply mesmerizing and the beach's sheltered position offers a serene and peaceful environment. The views of Saranda, Albania are simply stunning and appear so close that you can almost touch them. A holiday in Saranda is also highly recommended, along with the beautiful Ksamil. The beach is easily accessible with an easy walk up the hill from the harbor and then down a slope. The top of the hill is home to Cafe Kastro, which offers amenities such as toilets and a bar. The beach is very safe, as the current is mild, and the water shelves off deeply within a few meters. Today, the water was incredibly calm, possibly due to the wind coming from the south. We had a fantastic time snorkeling here and were able to see numerous silver fish, up to 20 at a time. We also enjoyed feeding the fish bits of bread and popcorn and watching them jump for it, leaving no mess behind, of course. It was a delight to see that there were no hooks on our bread to harm the lovely creatures. The sea floor is very clean, and we even spotted a small octopus. Beds are available for a reasonable price of about 3 euros each. As the sun sets behind the hill, it illuminates the hills of Albania in the distance, providing a beautiful and serene atmosphere. In conclusion, this beach may be small, but it is undoubtedly perfect. The water is crystal clear, the environment is peaceful, and the sea life is abundant. It is a must-visit location for anyone in the area.
