I lived there for 4 months in the early 70’s, sleeping under the olive trees on the top of the hill above, eating at a taverna owned by Spiro and Maria who had one daughter named Fadna. Everyone ate whatever Maria cooked, Spiro kept a tab for each person and gave us a shot of ouzo when we settled our tab. There were people from everywhere but only 2 of us from the US! We took showers in fresh water that came off the hillside onto the beach. I’m grateful I had that experience before it became developed!
Ah, the lovely nudist beach, where the sun shines down on bare bums and the waves lap at unencumbered toes. Of course, there are always a few rebels in shorts, but we won't hold it against them. It can get a tad crowded at times, but fear not, there's usually enough room to spread your towel and soak up the rays. All in all, a delightful spot for those who aren't afraid to let it all hang out.
This stunning beach boasts a serene atmosphere with a noticeable absence of crowds. The sand is soft and inviting, making it an ideal spot to unwind and soak up the sun. However, it is recommended to arrive early to secure one of the limited parking spots available. Keep in mind that the road leading to the beach is steep and may pose a challenge for vehicles with weaker engines.
This petite beach boasts a serene and secluded atmosphere, perfect for those seeking a natural and liberating experience. The sand is soft and inviting, beckoning visitors to kick off their shoes and sink their toes in. For added comfort, umbrellas and sunbeds are available for rent, ensuring a relaxing day spent basking in the sun.
This charming little nudist beach offers an optional experience for bathers. Nestled amidst cliffs and verdant foliage, it is a secluded haven accessed by stone steps. The beach offers sun loungers for rent, and a small bar serving refreshing cold drinks and sandwiches. The atmosphere is relaxed and tranquil, making it a perfect place to unwind and soak up the sun. I truly enjoyed my time there and would highly recommend it.
