The beach location is absolutely stunning, with the hotel cleverly positioned away from the road, ensuring a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The pool and sea are conveniently only 20 meters apart, making it easy to enjoy both. The garden and surrounding area are also well-maintained and beautiful. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located just 13 kilometers away from the airport, and there is a bus station right at the entrance. However, there are a few areas that could use improvement. The breakfast could be better, as having the same eggs every day becomes quite monotonous and difficult to eat. Furthermore, the bar is closed during the day, which can be inconvenient for guests. Additionally, the WiFi does not work in the rooms, which can be frustrating. The rooms themselves are on the smaller side, and the furniture is outdated and in need of replacement. The beds are particularly disappointing, as they consist of wooden branches with a mattress on top. Throughout the night, the branches tend to fall, causing discomfort and making it difficult to sleep. The mattresses are also extremely firm, to the point where I requested a room change, only to be given another room with the same ancient bed. Despite these issues, I would still give the hotel a 4-star rating due to its exceptional location and the friendly and helpful staff, particularly the ladies at the reception.
I would strongly advise against visiting this beach. The entire hotel gives off a dated 80's vibe and appears to have undergone no renovations since then. The WiFi is non-functional, even in the lounge area, and the breakfast is extremely disappointing. The beds are uncomfortable, the rooms are of poor quality, and the bathroom is unclean. The service is also quite arrogant, and the pool area is overcrowded with too many people.
The only positive aspects of this place are the garden, and the breakfast is decent. The rooms are desperately in need of renovation; it seems like the furniture hasn't been updated since the hotel first opened in 1965 😂. To add to the humor, they actually close the pool bar and restaurant during the busiest time of the year, from 3 to 5. So, if you find yourself hungry or thirsty, your only option is to walk 100 meters to the tavern near the hotel. I will definitely not be returning.
The hotel is extremely welcoming and comfortable, and the staff is the friendliest you will ever encounter. We had a fantastic week-long stay and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The rooms are decent, although most people don't spend much time in them during the day. The food, while not very diverse, consists mainly of delicious traditional Greek dishes. I would definitely recommend it!
The location is extremely convenient as the hotel is situated right on the beach, and if you prefer, you can also enjoy a swim in the pool. Although the food selection is not extensive, it is consistently fresh and delicious. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Since the hotel is small, it never feels overcrowded. The sunbeds are complimentary, and there is a towel rental service available (with a 5 euro deposit per towel, refundable upon return). While the beds may not be the most comfortable, the rooms are impeccably clean and tidy as they are cleaned daily.
