Aspros Gialos II beach is located on the Ionian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 66th place out of 504 beaches in the Ioanian Islands region 150.7 km away from its center, the city of Corfu. It is one of the beaches of Agios Ioannis settlement, just 0.3 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains.

It is a straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

The beach with stunning scenery and crystal-clear waters reminiscent of the Maldives. Although the slight breeze on the day of my visit added a touch of chill to the air, it did not detract from the overall beauty of the beach. I highly recommend making a point to visit this breathtaking location.

This little patch of sand is nothing to write home about. It's tucked away from the crowds, but that's about the only thing it has going for it. The rocks on the beach make it nearly impossible to walk without stumbling, and the water might be clear, but it's certainly not worth getting your feet wet for.

This is, without a doubt, our preferred beach on Ithaka. It's easily accessible by car, and just a quick descent down some secure steps. The water is invigorating and pure, thanks to the nearby stream and breeze. While it's tranquil in the early hours, the winds tend to pick up as the day progresses. It's important to note that the water is quite deep, so it's crucial to keep a watchful eye on children at all times. Overall, we highly recommend this beach!
