Dexa beach is located on the Ionian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 66th place out of 504 beaches in the Ioanian Islands region 154.7 km away from its center, the city of Corfu. It is one of the beaches of Vathy settlement, just 1.5 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Dexa beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

It's tough to make a decision, as I had a great time swimming at the beach and the water appeared pristine. However, upon discovering the presence of pipes leading into the bay, I'm left wondering about the safety of the water.

This beach is a serene paradise, with a tranquil and pristine atmosphere that is unmatched. The shade provided by the olive trees is absolutely delightful, and the water is simply breathtaking, with its crystal-clear and tranquil nature. It is recommended that visitors wear water shoes, as the beach is covered in pebbles. Additionally, there is a beach bar that opens at 10:30 in the morning, providing refreshments and relaxation.

This beach near Vathi is quiet and pleasant. The water is crystal clear, just like in other parts of the island. There are plenty of shaded areas and a beach bar. However, if you're only staying in Ithaca for a short time, I wouldn't suggest visiting this beach as there are more stunning beaches to explore.

The pebble beach is incredibly peaceful and serene, with an abundance of olive trees providing ample shade. There are sun beds available for rent at 10€ per couple, as well as a bar serving refreshing drinks and appetizers. We had no trouble accessing the beach on foot from Vathy.
