The beach is absolutely breathtaking. To get there, you'll need to cross a table from the left side of the gorge to the right. The hike took us about two hours each way, but we did get a little lost on the way there. Unfortunately, there wasn't any water in the gorge or waterfall when we visited. Despite this, the beach is truly a special spot and definitely worth the trek! We went on a Saturday and only saw one other small group. We didn't encounter anyone else on the trail. The hike starts at Kampos, near Lefteris Tavern, which is also a lovely spot for dinner.
The beach is lovely, but it requires a bit of effort to reach. The journey involves a one-hour walk, initially along a dry creek bed and then on a somewhat unkempt road. It's best to start early to make the most of your time there.
An amazing hiking experience that we were able to enjoy with our 5-year-old son, although it did take us some time. It's important to bring along water, food, and allow for plenty of time. We began and ended our journey at the Lefteris tavern, where we were able to indulge in delicious food before and after the hike.
This hidden gem of a beach is a true escape from the crowds. With its secluded location, you'll likely have the entire stretch of sand to yourself. The journey to get there is a scenic 1-hour walk through a stunning gorge, making the destination all the more rewarding. Be prepared for direct sun exposure all day, as the only shade options are near the rocks or cliffs. It's important to bring plenty of food and water to sustain you during your visit. Overall, this beach is a must-visit for those seeking a peaceful and picturesque retreat.
This stunning and serene beach is nestled amidst breathtaking cliffs, making for a truly picturesque setting. While we were able to access the beach in a small rental car, it's worth noting that a 4WD vehicle is recommended for the journey.
