During our last visit in 2020, I wrote a stunning review that garnered thousands of views and likes. However, due to its virality across various travel platforms, I had to delete it. Now that we are back, we have noticed that the place has been affected by inflation, resulting in higher prices for sunbeds at €10 and Corona Extra at the bar for €5 (which seems excessive). The prices of all the taverns along this coast are the same, so don't bother searching for kiosks or markets. Despite the price increase, the beach remains the same - the crystal-clear water, delicious food, stunning location, and one of the most beautiful mixed-ffk places on Crete. We should be grateful that this side of the coast and beach is still as beautiful as ever, and not as dirty as other places. Come here and enjoy a peaceful and beautiful day at the beach, whether it's for one day, five days, or even a month. A big thank you to the team at Amudaki Beach for doing an excellent job.
This charming beach is simply stunning and undoubtedly the most breathtaking cove we've encountered during our time in Crete. The water deepens rapidly, so be mindful of that. Parking is abundant, so no need to worry about that. The cost of sun beds is only 10 euros per set, which is a very reasonable price for such a picturesque location. However, it is more textile-oriented than naturist-oriented, which is a minor disappointment. Nonetheless, it appears that nobody minds. The lunch is reasonably priced, and cold beverages are available both on the beach and in the cafe above.
I had the pleasure of spending a couple of days at a serene nudist beach that exudes an air of relaxation. Although clothing is optional, there is no pressure to bare it all. For a mere 10€, I was able to rent an umbrella and sunbeds, and indulge in the most delicious Greek salad at the bar. The refreshment options were endless, from drinks to ice-cream, ice coffee, and shisha. The view during lunch was simply breathtaking. I left the beach feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, grateful for the experience. Plus, the added bonus of free parking made the trip all the more enjoyable.
This beach is an absolute treasure! It's a little haven with pristine water and minuscule stones. It's simply awe-inspiring. You'll find naturists and those in swimwear alike. There are ample free parking spaces and a cozy tavern that overlooks the beach. If you wish, you can rent a sunbed. This is undoubtedly one of my top beaches in Crete!
This beach is truly magnificent. However, it is important to wear sturdy footwear as the beach is composed of tiny pebbles that are comfortable to walk on when they are cool, but can become scorching hot under the sun. Sandals may not provide enough protection for your feet.
