The charming settlement of Tzigouna, located west of Lenda, boasts an enchanting vista of the sea and Cape Lion of Lenda. The name Tsigounas is derived from a source that may have little water, but it flows constantly throughout the year (tsigouna). A dirt road, accessible from the settlement, leads to the small port of Akrotiri Trachili, where a stunning beach awaits. The beach is adorned with fine, dark pebbles and tranquil waters, making it a favorite spot among locals.
In my opinion, the beach doesn't possess any distinctive features that would make it stand out from the rest. The amount of effort required to reach it doesn't seem to be justified by the experience it offers.
This charming beach is a hidden gem frequented by the locals and boasts a handful of boats bobbing in the calm waters. It's the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun while taking a dip in the crystal-clear water. Don't forget to pack an umbrella to shield yourself from the sun's rays, and remember to stay hydrated with plenty of fresh drinking water.
The beach is truly delightful and offers a serene atmosphere with minimal crowds of tourists.
