Upon a brief yet steep descent and through a petite gorge, one shall stumble upon Trafoulas Bay. This extraordinary cove, reminiscent of the red planet Mars, boasts of pristine, translucent waters and a sparse population of visitors.
Embark on an exciting and enjoyable 15-minute hike through a stunning gorge, where you'll be accompanied by curious goats. The hike culminates in a breathtaking dark sand beach with crystal-clear waters that are perfect for swimming and snorkeling. This secluded destination is perfect for those seeking solitude, with very few visitors. Although the drive in may be challenging for smaller rental cars, the rewards that await you at the end of the journey are well worth the effort.
This beach is absolutely breathtaking! The journey to get there is just as exciting, as you'll make your way through a stunning gorge that leads right up to the parking area. From there, it's only a 15-minute walk to the beach itself, but it's worth every step. The beach is truly one-of-a-kind, with plenty of interesting rocks and caves to explore (just make sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes if you plan on climbing up the rocks!). And if you're looking to stay awhile, there are plenty of shady spots perfect for camping and enjoying some peace and quiet. It's the perfect place to unwind and soak up the natural beauty all around you.
I guess I shouldn't even bother writing about this beach. It's not like anyone wants to go to a secluded spot with crystal clear water and a peaceful vibe. The only way to access this hidden gem is by navigating through a canyon full of pesky mountain goats. But hey, at least it's a unique experience, right? And let's not forget the thrill of driving on a treacherous dirt road and stumbling over rocks and stones in a ravine just to get there. It's not for the faint of heart, but I guess that's part of the adventure.

The beach is a mix of soft, sandy shores and pebbled areas, offering a unique texture to your beach experience. As there are no trees in the vicinity, it is advisable to carry an umbrella for shade. Access to this picturesque beach is through a stunning gorge, which takes a leisurely 15-20 minutes on foot.
